iFormula is a new Simracing Sanctioning Body, that governs both the "iFormula World Series" and the "iFormula Pro Series".

The Series Chairman is Ryan Halliday

History Edit

The idea behind the iFormula racing ladder came from the now defunct "SimGP World Cup" which was planned to run its first season in 2009.

iFormula World Series Edit

The iFormula World Series is the Top Tier series in the iFormula Racing Ladder. The series uses an edited FN06 Chassis (Formerly used in the Japanese Formula Nippon Series) labeled the iF09. Teams will have the choice to choose between 2 engine suppliers, the iForce i981 or the Detrik HR01.

iFormula Pro Series Edit

The Pro Series is largely unknown by the public as little has been explained by the Series Leaders about it. It is expected to start up when necessary possibly during in the Winter of 2009.

One of the few things announced about the Pro Series is that it will use the World Series by Nissan cars with a an iForce i320 Engine.
